  • How to hide a ColorPicker?

How can I hide a ColorPicker? WriteObject with a -1 like with ALL other objects is not working.

    Thanks
    Daniel

    Hello Daniel,

Have you toggled the "Allow buttons to be disabled" on the Project tab of Workshop4?

Click image for larger version Name:	Capture.PNG Views:	0 Size:	12.7 KB ID:	71745

After that, kindly have a look at this post and follow procedure 5 and 6:
    https://forum.4dsystems.com.au/node/...0858#post50858

    Hope this helps.

    BR,
    Sherwin

      I tried all of it.
we are hiding about 30 objects on start of the display.
its not working for colorpicker only.

      what can we do?

      thanks

        Hi Daniel,

I was able to hide the ColorPicker using an empty UserButton. You can confirm this by using Genie Test Tool(GTX).

        Please download attach file.
        UserButtonHideColorPicker.zip

If you don't mind, could you please post you project here to have a closer look? Or you can email it to me at sherwin.macabio at gmail dot com dot au

        Thanks and kind regards,
        Sherwin

          Hi Sherwin,

That's also just partly working for us, because you will see the colorPicker flickering anytime you enter the form.... and we switch forms quite often

Sorry, but I will not send any "production" data of our sources to a gmail. Are you an employee of 4D?

          Thanks
          Daniel

Shouldn't this work? Is it a bug?

          img_SetWord(hndl, iColorpicker1, -1, IMAGE_INDEX);
I try to run it in PostGenieInit
