  • "Arduino IDE Does Not Appear to be Responding, Check comms port"

So this is the message I get after pressing "Comp'nLoad" on the Hello World example. Code compiles fine then I get this message.
    • Newbie here; first time trying boot up and use
    • I'm connected to a gen4-ulCD-43DCT-CLB via an Arduino adaptor shield II and gen4-IB connected to H1. all jumpers on defaults
    • screen boots up and is displaying default splash screen
    • using std Arduino Uno. Under options/arduino, pin usage says reset pin is 4(adapter shield rev 2, Option), Serial has "Serial" selected from dropdown
    • Under Comms tab, "Com 3" is selected and only option. Status is "device is not responding"
    • In the arduino IDE, port is com 3 and sketches upload fine.
What am I not getting here?

    Dear Dan,

    Good Day.
Please check this application note as a reference on how to connect the display with Serial Connection to an Arduino Host.

    I hope this will help.

    Best Regards,
    Ferdinand
