  • gen4-IB 5-pin connector

    Hi there,

I'd like to create a stand-alone display using the gen4-uLCD-32D-CLB with a single video on the SD card. I'm confident that I can do so with some simple 4DGL programming to loop the video (using the 4D programming cable).

I'll build my own cable to power the stand-alone display through the +5v and GND pins of the gen4-IB module that will be permanently connected to the uLCD using the FFC cable. What type of rectangular female 5-pin connector should I use to connect my 5v power source to the gen4-IB, and will the uLCD function on a stand-alone basis if I leave out the TX, RX and RES wires from the 5-pin connector?

Thanks in advance for your help.
