    Hi Everyone,

    I wasn't exactly sure where to ask this question but I was doing some research about doing RPM gauges that I had seen through SimHub.

    The conclusion I came to is that for a progress bar style RPM gauge, the trick is having a ton of pictures that show various RPMs and that depending on the value of EngineRPM you call a different image? Is that how most TFT screens work? Having pictures update extremely fast to show data? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but my mind is slightly blown - I thought it was more pixel based if that makes sense.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Developers design display modules differently from one another. The most common implementation is to use multiple frames designed for all values of the gauge. This is what 4D display solutions utilize.

    Furthermore, with the help of Workshop4, users can simply use existing widgets that each needed frame/value is generated automatically or fully customized designs.
