  • 90% of display module's RAM is used up.

After building my project in Workshop IDE, the following is reported:

Note: 0 Button Animation Timers in use.
    0 errors
    0 warnings
    3 notices
No Errors, code size = 19453 bytes out of 32750 total
    Approximate run RAM size = 29616 bytes out of 32768 total (Base:1170 Disk:38 Strings:570 Img+Font_Controls:10982 Img_elements:16856)

According this 90% of RAM is used up, but display is working. Will this course any trouble like RAM overflow in future?
Is there any way to reduce RAM usage without making any visible changes to GUI?

    Hi,

If your project is set to run from RAM then it will the progarm code in RAM as well as any variables used.

Could you please check the Project Tab to see what ii the Destination is set to. If it is set to RAM then change it to Flash.

    Best regards

    Paul

Since RAM usage is high, I have set it to run from flash. But why still IDE is displaying showing this much RAM usage?
