    Hi Rob,

Yes the programming methodoligy is exactly the same. The ESP32 has 3 hardware serial ports and if using a ESP32 module with on-board USB port it is generally advisable to use another Serial port for communications with the display. You may find this useful,

    Intelligent Display use with ESP32

    Hi,
    Just a general inquiry.
I have used an Arduino Uno with a 4D systems LCD display before, serially connected.

I am thinking of progressing to the ESP32, programming it with the Arduino IDE and serially connecting a 4D systems display to it.
Is the programming methodology exactly the same for communications between the ESP32 and the display as it is for the Uno and it's display?

    Regards
    Rob
