  • Custom font glyphs?

I am using Genie to work up a remote control head for a radio. The device spits out display data in a long comma delimited string which I chop up and direct to the display.

The problem is they use custom font glyphs for certain items like an up or down arrow or like a solid square. The square is the first char at hex 0x00.

I searched but am still not understanding if there is a way I can point the display at a modified font.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forum

It is possible to use 3rd party fonts. This appnote explains how to use a font in Genie. I have also included the Visi appnote in case that helps

    I hope this helps

    Best regards

    Paul

Thank you Paul for taking the time to link those. I will dig into them and try to get my head around it all.
