  • Is there any chance to disable the NACK and ACK globally

We would need two displays in parallel and the NACK and ACK avoids this....

    Thanks

    Good day,

Can I ask which display environment you are using? In the Serial SPE and ViSi-genie, the ACK and NAK reply cannot be disabled unless you modify the 4DGL code directly. Can I ask how you are connecting the displays in parallel, are they sharing the same serial port or using different ones?

    Best Regards,

We only have one serial there so it is the same and the displays are in parallel.

      we use visi-genie

        Hi,

Usually serial UART is good only for one-to-one communication unlike I2C. But if your goal is just to send commands to the display and don't care about the returns (if you don't have touch, or you don't need/expect to read anything back from the display), what you could do is just to disconnect the return line on the second display for it to just listen on the line and have the first display do the replies to the host.

        Best Regards,
