  • Workshop 4 Compile error - Must specify one sketch file

Hi, would appreciate some help regarding compiling. Everytime I try and upload the program to the 4Duino I get the message attatched in the file.

Please help as I cannot use the 4Duino at all !!!

I have re-installed Arduino IDE and Workshop 4 but still the same message.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Hi brettshelley,

    Good day!

Have you tried other sample files in the Worskhop4? You may try compiling using these files and see if the error is present.
    Workshop4 > File > Samples > 4Duino

    Thanks and Regards,
    Eran

      Hi Eran,

Yes I did and same error. I loaded the software onto another laptop and it works!?!

Must be a software issue but trying everything and still the same.

      Cheers,

      Brett

        Hi brettshelley,

Thank you for pointing that out.

In the laptop where you are experiencing the issue, can you go to Project folder and check if there is an INO file that was generated? If yes, then please try compiling/uploading the INO file using the Arduino IDE and see if it is still giving a compilation error. If there's still an error, you may post it here so we can further help you with the issue.

        Thanks and Best Regards,
        Eran
