Question about compatiblity

I have a 4Gen-uGlcd-32DT and was hoping to use it as a slave with a dsPIC33CH128MP508. Whilst searching the forums, downloading datasheets etc, I see very little reference to PICs.

Is there a reason for this, am I barking up the wrong tree? Is there some other HID I should be using?
