  • Getting Time to display from the PC through Arduino on gen4-ulcd-70d

    Hello!

I am attempting to get the current time from the PC that the Arduino is connected to and then convert it to integers for hour, minute, month, and day to then display on the 4d display. I have attempted using Arduino examples and libraries, but I was wondering if anyone else had had success with this and would be willing to lend some help. Attached is my Visi Genie program as reference.

    Good day!

First, you'd want to ensure that you are actually receiving the current time and date.

I would suggest trying it out without the display. For example, you can print the date and time to Serial Monitor for testing. If you had trouble with this, you should check Arduino forums.

Next, you can try using WriteObject and/or WriteStr to update widgets on the display. You might want to do this first with fixed example values. If you are having trouble with this, please let us know.

Finally, you can simply combine both projects to accomplish your goal.

    Best Regards
