  • MOTG-RS485 with PIXXILCD-25P4-CTP

    Hello,

I wonder if the MOTG-RS485 module is compatible with the PixxiLCD-25P4-CTP display ?

    thanks,

    Hello,

Yes it should work fine, just not directly able to be mounted.

You can use the MOTG-Breadtooth module and connect it up to the pixxiLCD with jumper wires.

It just requires TX/RX and a GPIO for the TURN pin, and then 3.3V and GND.
The pixxiLCD-25P4-CTP has 2 GPIO available.

The tricky part will be getting the signals out of the FFC cable of the pixxiLCD, to utilise. You will likely need a gen4-Breakout board, to split out the signals from the FFC cable, and then into the MOTG-Breadtooth. So its not very 'elegant', but it should work, if that is the path you want to take.

    I hope that helps

    Regards
    James
