  • Graphics Composer

The new modules such as the uOLED-128-GMD1, uOLED-160-GMD1, uLCD-128-GMD1, uLCD-320-PMD2 etc are not compatible with the current version of the Graphics Composer. Because the new modules are more enhanced as well as the uSD memory card support the Graphics Composer does not support all of the new command set.

We are currently working on a new Graphics Composer (ver 2) which will support all the new modules and hopefully this new version should be available in the next week or two.

There'll also be a seperate PC soft tool that will emulate all of the commands and allow you to display them onto the screen as well download the composed script into the uSD memory Card. This is also couple of weeks away.

We're working around the clock to get all this done, won't be long now.

    Ah-ha!
Thank you Attila, I shall cease bashing my forehead against a brick wall! Connecting with CommChk, I'm getting a constant stream of &hDF being transmitted to the PC is this normal?
I'm trying to send individual commands to draw a line or display version, but not a lot is happening, can't seem to get a word in edge-ways........

Sorry about that. I thought we had posted an explanation outlining the current interface problems but obviously not. We're expecting the first cut of the new to be released this week but more than likely next week. It'll be well worth the wait.....

Have you sent the "Auto Baud" 0x55 (Ascii U) character to the module first?
