If you create another form that is one huge button, set contrast to 0 and switch to that form, your controller and than wait for a button press and switch back to the 'current' form and set contrast to non 0

    Hello,

I'm using a 70-DT with a raspberry pi and the Visie-Genie library. I need my display to standby when it's not used and to wake up when somebody touch it. Is that possible ?

    Thank you.

    Karun,

    Check out the following page:

    http://www.4dsystems.com.au/developers/docs.php?cat=14&id=68

You can set the contrast to 0 using the gfx_Set(CONTRAST, value) command.
This sends the display into low power mode - just what you need.

    Standby operation

I'm new to both Goldelox and Picasso graphics processor. We are looking for OLED solution for production of medical hand held device. Unlike cell phone displays, the display in this device will not be used too often. I would like to know whether Goldelox or picasso processors support standby operation. The graphics processor should put the oled display off and go into standby when not used. Even 2 seconds of wakeup time is fine for our application.

    Regards,
    Sriram.
